Studio Cleaning Procedures:

• All surfaces will be thoroughly wiped down with Lysol or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes upon opening the studio each day.  This includes door handles, light switches, chairs, stools, benches, tables, bathroom fixtures, and sneeze guards.

• After each class, all surfaces will be thoroughly wiped down with Lysol or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.  This includes all chairs, stools, benches, tables and bathroom fixtures.

• After each class, all paintbrushes and plastic art supplies will be thoroughly washed with warm water and soap. 

• Before closing the studio each evening, all surfaces will be thoroughly wiped down with Lysol or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.  In addition, the floors will be vacuumed and then washed with Lysol cleaning products.

• Reminders to keep hands off of faces will be posted throughout the studio.

• Hand-washing guidelines/pictures will be posted in the bathrooms and the studio sink area.

 

Class Safety Precautions:

• Class sizes will be no larger than 8 students.

• “Sneeze guards” will be installed at each student’s work station.

• Aprons will not be provided, however students may bring their own (or purchase their own Kidcasso apron).

• All sensory bins and/or toys will not be in use.

• All dollhouses, blocks and related toys will not be in use.

• Chalk and chalkboard play will not be in use.

• Students will remain in their seats at their art station during story time.

• Snacks will not be allowed, unless otherwise instructed.

• All students will be provided with hand sanitizer or a disinfectant wipe upon entering the studio.

• All students will be required to wash their hands upon completion of their art project.

 

 Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures:

• All students and guests must enter and exit the studio wearing a mask.

• Students/parents may not enter the studio until the previous class has been fully dismissed and the studio has been properly cleaned.

• Students will be released from class one at a time to a parent/guardian. 

• We will expect the doorway to the studio to remain open and uncrowded.

• Please allow ample space and time for students to exit the studio.

 

Employee Wellness Policies:

• Employees will follow all safety protocols issued by the state.

• All employees will be required to wash their hands before the start of each class, as well as throughout the day in between classes.

• All employees are required to stay home when they are sick or not feeling well. 

• All employee food/beverages will remain in a designated employees-only area.

 

Make-Up/Cancellation Policies:

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our students and employees.  

 

• If your child does not feel well, is sick or has a fever, please do not send him/her to class.  Your child must be fever-free for at least 24 hours before returning to the studio.  If an art instructor thinks that your child may be ill, she will contact you immediately to arrange for pick up.  

• At this time we will not be offering make-up classes or refunds. 

If an art instructor has to cancel a class due to illness, another Kidcasso art instructor will teach the class.
